Elk Hunting Missouri
Elk have played an important role in the cultural history of American Indians, especially the Lakota, the proud members of the Great Sioux Nation. The Lakota believed that the spiritual elk was the teacher of men and the embodiment of strength, sexual prowess, and courage.
At Hunter Ridge Ranch, we offer the opportunity to create your own elk history by taking one of our trophy elk. With our quality, genetic-breeding program, you will find some of our elk score over 400. Not only does elk provide a fine trophy, they provide delicious meat. Elk meat is lean and flavorful and lower in fat and cholesterol than beef, pork, chicken, and some seafood, according to health experts.
